My second installation is a mandala drawn under the apple tree in my garden. I planted this tree a few years ago as a reminder to myself of Shakespeare's words in King Lear: "Ripeness is all." So I felt it was an appropriate place for a mandala.
This is one installation artwork that I created for my art class. I placed two Ganesha figures on some rocks in my garden after cleaning the rock and decorating it with colored powders.
I have enrolled in an Art class through Coursera. Our first assignment is to introduce ourselves and show the class something we have created. I just started experimenting with block printing, so I decided to show the class the first three linocuts I made. Here they are:
We have been asked to design t-shirts that represent our current "Design: Artifacts in Society" course. There will be a tournament, and one t-shirt will be chosen to become a keepsake of this course and it will be made available for purchase. These are my designs and I have included pictures of how they will look on a t-shirt. It is on the slideshow below.
